It sounds like you may have found the answer with the Muvee stabilizer. I do notice that the video is a little blurrier/less clearly defined in some areas compared to your clip, and I'm hoping that you'll see even more improvement and stability by running the RS on the raw clip first. I've attached the first 7-8 seconds of my attempted improvement, which is where most of the jello effect occurs. Test it both ways and see if one is obviously better, and if the results are similar, then use the approach that's quicker for you to finish. It may make a difference if the video is produced with the RS fix prior to trying the IS, because the two effects might interfere with each other. On your machine, I'd suggest trying the same steps. I produced that file so it had all the RS corrections (along with your original IS), then I place that on the timeline and added the stabilizer set to 40 and the Fix rotational camera shake box checked Scanning Direction: Down * (probably not significant).Martin, I was able to get the clip to be marginally more stable (eg noticeably less shaky to my eyes) by taking your IS Applied clip and setting the RS controls to the following settings: I'm betting that will give you much more satisfying results!ĭS365 | Win10 Pro | Ryzen 9 3950X | RTX 2070 | 32GB RAM | 10TB SSDs | 5K+4K HDR monitorsĬanon Vixia GX10 (4K 60p) | HF G30 (HD 60p) | Yi Action+ 4K | 360Fly 4K 360° See if you can get the "jello" effect removed as best you can from the raw clip first, then apply IS and finally reduce to 1080p. That has to be the first step you take, otherwise the fix cannot compensate for the issues after the frame is rotated and cropped for IS, and it will also be much less effective at a scaled/reduced resolution. If you think carefully about what each step does, you'll understand that the rolling shutter is ONLY going to be effective on the raw video. Since you're applying 3 different changes to try to get your final product, the order that you apply them is very important. When I reread your descriptions, I think I know how you might be able to improve your results. I'm downloading both and will let you know what I find. I'm glad you were able to upload both clips.
